DAY 180

FRIDAY!  Yeah!  Here is a doll I found and I just had to have.  Sometimes I find, I pick up a doll and hold it my hand and think, "there is something about this doll", it is like a sense that I need to take it, buy it, obtain it, but not in a hoarder kind of way.  .  I am not sure if down the line I will find a match with doll and new owner or if it goes deeper than that?  Either way this is one of those dolls! And, at the end of the day when I do the research on her... I get it, I know why.  Perhaps to personal or weird for me to explain here but I get it and am happy.  Enough of me babbling on.  here she is... Ms. Olivia.

THURSDAY DAY 179

Today it was a day of reorganizing and networking.  Reorganizing the dolls in my room that we moved out during a window replacement.  You should have seen all the dust, Wow.  But after two days it is cleaner and the dolls are happy and easy to see instead of all bunched up one behind the other.  The other part of my day was networking to promote MMP, my nonprofit business.  The worst part of the day was watching the injustice occur to a doll that was murdered. " Caylee Anthony was last seen on June 16, 2008, Police did not learn of her disappearance until July 15. The child's skeletal remains were discovered December 11, 2008."There is nothing more to say...

DAY 177 TUESDAY AND 178 WEDNESDAY

DAY 177 was a Tuesday and I was still on vacation.  Vacation from thinking about dolls.  I know the whole reason for this blog was to get away from it all but this time I really needed to step away from dolls for the past four days because now that My Muñeca Project is a true non profit business dolls have become part of my life.  A second job if you will and no matter how hard it was to actually do nothing related to dolls the last 3 days I am all the better for it as I work harder today (DAY 178) than I have before.  Pushing myself to get organized create a way to fund my project and ...I think I found it.  I buy toys in bulk, clean them up and sell to a lady at the flea market, she in turns pays me for the bulk price of all toys hers and mine and mine become free, hers are super cheap and we have just created a win win situation.  I like this... but in the meantime for DAY 178, check this toy out, not a doll but darling.  More importantly read the mom's feedback about the toy.  I understand her frustration since she probably paid $8.00 for the aquapet, but I think she is missing the point of why kids actually need this stuff.  I currently have one on my desk.  I love it!It has 2 buttons, one that makes a beep, the other cries. Not appear to do anything else. I can not understand the "point" of this toy. I bought one for my daughter for her birthday. She is 6. He said, quote: "I knew it would be this boring." Need I say more? Do not waste your money.

Product Description
Cute and portable – these floating three-dimensional figures are cherished by girls ages 6 and up. Each thumb-sized character has its own look, sounds and songs and lives inside a raindrop-shaped case. The creatures come alive when kids, or other Aquapets, interact with them. A microchip, microphone and speaker housed in the toy’s base enable Aquapets to register and respond to sound. Each character replies with movement and melody. The more you play with your Aquapets, the more songs they will perform and the livelier they’ll become. DAY 174

Today I did nothing doll related.  Well ok I did go to two different thrift shops and saw how outrageous the prices of dolls were but other than that it was a work free day.  I feel great too.  Everyone needs some rest even from playing with dolls.
